Shameless Self Promotion

Location: My bed
Listening to: "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard playing over and over in my head
Days til Graduation: 66!

Two posts in less than 12 hours? Wow! I'm incredibly efficient (aka trying to make up for lost time)!

I just got done watching this mildly bizarre BBC/PBS show called Bonekickers. The episode was about Jesus (probably because it's just about Easter...in fact, it will be Easter by the time I post this!) and the Knights of the Templar and really weird stuff that I didn't entirely follow. I'm pretty sure there was a battle. And maybe some sci-fi shiz. I wasn't really paying attention.

I spent an excessive amount of time messing with my layout on here. I think I finally like what it looks like. But it'd be nice to get some more opinions. But for that to happen, I need followers. And for that to happen, someone would actually have to read and somewhat enjoy this.

That means YOU. YES. YOU. (the one person who accidentially stumbled across this and felt obliged to give it a shot) should tell your friends! Because I promise in the upcoming blogs I will:

-Reveal a deep, dark secret! (probably)
-Say something witty (once per blog)
-Make an occasional relevant point
-GIVE EVERYONE FREE STUFF!!!!

Ok, so the last one is a lie. But who really cares? (Besides you, my one reader. I know you care deeply and profoundly about every single syllable I type in this blog. Why else would you be so devoted? You wouldn't have read all two of my posts if you didn't care!!!)

Now I'm just babbling to try and make it til midnight so this will count as my post for tomorrow. Three minutes. I'll do a Top Ten list. But what to make a list of? OOOH. I KNOW.

Top Ten Fictional Hunks:

10.) Michael Moscowitz - The Princess Diaries (I haven't read these books in about six years, but Michael was a dream boat. He was geek-chic and brilliant and musically talented and just kind of genuine in the kind of way that made young teenage girls swoon. It didn't hurt that the guy who played him in the movie version was a BABE.)

9.) Owen - Just Listen (Bad-boy-turned-music-expert. I have a thing for guys who know good music. Plus Owen was funny and he gained mad bonus points by being sensitive to the awful things Anna went through.)

8.) Ron Weasley - Harry Potter series (He's goofy. And a ginger. And the underdog. Which is pretty much a recipe for sympathy crush.)

7.) Jake Ryan - Sixteen Candles (Who didn't love the gorgeous Jake Ryan who ditched his girlfriend and spent an epic night trying to track down Sam/Molly Ringwald?)

6.) Wolverine - X-Men (Mostly I love Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. But he's pretty badass.)

5.) Owen Tucker - John Tucker Must Die (Again, geek-cute musician with a sense of humor. Je adore!)

4.) Edward Cullen - Twilight (HAHA! Just kidding!)

3.) Patrick Verona - 10 Things I Hate About You (Singing "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" with the marching band in front of a field full of people while being chased by cops to win back his girl. Enough said.)

2.) Mr. Darcy - Pride and Prejudice (Duh.)

1.) Marcus Flutie - Sloppy Firsts/etc. (He is everything. Geek cute, bad-boy-turned-prodigy, deep, funny, and pretty much every other major and minor detail that makes me SWOOOOOOOON.)

Alright. It's 12:12 now. That means: HAPPY EASTER. And also, I'm going to sleep.

Goodnight, world.

  1. Hey, I found your blog through your comment on "The Best Of Everything." I'm looking forward to all the free stuff... and to reading more thoroughly.

My wife -- Sweetie -- would probably agree with you on some of the Hunks you've picked out, particularly Edward: Her listing of hunks is here:
